Who we are
Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene represents the history of a community and a territory, presenting itself as an ambassador of high-quality Prosecco in the world and as a guardian of the landscape and vineyards of Valdobbiadene. With over 1,000 hectares of vineyards managed by around 600 member winegrowers, the cooperative is now one of the most representative wineries in the production area, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2019.
Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene was founded in 1952 by 129 founding members: farmers in post-WWII Italy driven by the desire to rebuild their land and community, deeply affected by the world conflicts. Thus begins a collective and social story that responds to the needs of the people: the establishment of the winery marks not only a new beginning for the individual winegrowers but also the starting point for the growth and popularity of Valdobbiadene wine.
