True sustainability

A journey of continuous improvement

Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene is actively committed to environmental and social sustainability, integrating practices and activities that reflect its long-term dedication to respecting the territory and natural resources. The Cantina adopts a strategy focused on enhancing the grapes provided by its winegrower members through rigorous control of the entire production chain, from the vineyard to the bottle. An integral part of this mission is adhering to the sustainable development goals of the 2030 Agenda, focusing on eight of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). The five pillars guiding the company’s strategy include responsible governance, production innovation to reduce waste and environmental impacts, enhancing human capital, protecting the territory and the vineyard landscape, and transparent communication.

Sustainability is real only when it is measurable

In 2020, the Cantina obtained SQNPI (National Quality System for Integrated Production) and VIVA certifications. In the same year, the first Sustainability Report was prepared, an essential tool for monitoring and communicating the impact of business activities. In 2022, the Equalitas certification was also obtained, a standard that defines sustainability requirements in the wine sector according to the three pillars: social, environmental, and economic. Through these initiatives, Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene is not only committed to producing high-quality Prosecco but also to protecting and promoting the territory and the local community, adopting best practices that qualify it as an example of excellence in the wine industry.
